Work Study Opportunity

We are looking for friendly and responsible people to do a work exchange for yoga classes, experience in different aspects of running a small business, and the benefit of being in a positive and nurturing environment. Peaceful Presence Yoga Studio is located at the heart of Cedarhurst on the busiest part of Central Avenue.   We offer a wide range of weekly classes taught by highly skilled instructors.

An added plus if you are:
- Familiar with computer and Microsoft office: word, excel. Mindbody Software experience preferable but not required.
- Must enjoy interacting with people and be able to naturally meet and greet students.
- In love with yoga! You are encouraged to take advantage of all the classes we offer so as to familiarize yourself with the teachers and types of classes. 
- Comfortable checking-in students, opening the center, maintaining the cleanliness of the studio, cleaning yoga mats/blocks, grassroots marketing and helping with other administrative duties as instructed by the studio manager.

YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN A REASONABLY COMMUTABLE DISTANCE.

Possible arrangements vary and are individualized but here is one:
6 hours per week in exchange for unlimited yoga classes.
Currently looking to fill Sundays 930-230 and 130-630; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00am - 8:00pm.

Other Opportunities

Wanted: A nutritionist, acupuncturist, or other licensed/certified health professional looking to join our team at the Peaceful Presence Yoga Studio in Cedarhurst. This will include a monthly contribution to the studio for the use of one of our treatment rooms or other space. Details will be arranged.
